Monthly Wrap-Up-March 2019

Another month has come and gone! Seriously, March just flew by! This year is going so fast! Read on to find out how I spent my month.

Reading:

I am ashamed to say that I didn’t read a lot of books this month. I had a minor reading slump and it didn’t help that I spent most of my waking hours either working or listening to music or whiling away my time on social media. No wonder March was a boring month for me. My unread books are staring at me from the bookshelf across my bed and I will (hopefully) reduce my TBR in April! Wish me luck!

Movies:

I watched “Love, Simon” a few days ago and oh! it was so good. I loved the cast and although I wished the ending would have been the same as the one written in the book,  I have no complaints with the movie overall.

Misc.:

This month, I realized that you have to put a conscious effort into every task in order to be better at it, whether it be your work or your mental health. My mental health was good other than a few lows now and then, but I have learned to focus on positivity instead of hoping to just wake up a different(aka positive) person one day. It isn’t an epiphany, but these little realizations matter too.

And that’s it. How was your month? Let me know in the comments below.

  1. When I saw Love, Simon I whispered to my friends for the whole ending. ”WTF this is not what happens in the book. nonononono i promise you the book eding is way better” after seeing it a second time I felt a bit better about it, but i was still shook

  2. Here’s to a less-slumpy April for you! Reading slumps are the WORST. No need to feel ashamed; they happen to everyone (I was there in October/November). I hope it ends quickly for you!
